This course guides school-based behavior analysts through integrating RBTs into a consultative model of behavior support, extending the consultation process* you've already begun building and/or implementing. The focus is on building the capacity of teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators, rather than on RBTs providing direct, student-specific services written into IEPs. Instructors begin with steps for evaluating district needs, leadership expectations, and existing RBT resources. They then demonstrate how to track and analyze your own workload to see where support is falling short and use those data to design RBT roles that strengthen your consultation process. A focus on RBT scope of competence and BCBA delegation of tasks is emphasized throughout. The course ends with considerations for expanding your team. This course gives BCBAs a practical framework for using RBTs to extend consultative behavior support to build the capacity of school professionals. *Recommended Prerequisite: Building Behavior Support Teams: Practical and Ethical Tips for School-Based BCBAs or Transforming School Based Behavior Support Teams: A Guided Intensive
