This one-hour done-for-you professional development presentation is designed for school personnel who may be resistant to collecting data, are new to the process, or just need a refresher on the “why.” With discussions and short activities related to data collection in real life, this session helps establish buy-in to quantitative data collection and graphing in school settings.

This done-for-you hands-on presentation is designed to strengthen the skillset of school personnel to collect quantitative data in the classroom when working with students exhibiting challenging or undesired behaviors. A special focus is on the feasibility of data collection while managing other teaching responsibilities. Data collection methods covered include: frequency/event occurrence, duration, latency, partial-interval, whole-interval, momentary time sampling.

This done-for-you PD session is 100% hands-on and is designed to walk participants step-by-step through creating an automatically-updating graph using Google Sheets. It is designed for school personnel who regularly collect data but need tools for presenting it at meetings. Using one sample student and target behavior, this session covers: setting up a graph, adding baseline and intervention data, and adding phase change lines, goal lines, and trendlines.

This slides and speaker notes only version is a done-for-you, customizable professional development training on research-based Tier 1 classroom management and behavior strategies. It is an editable Google Slides deck designed for school-based BCBAs, behavior specialists, instructional coaches, and administrators who deliver PD to teachers, paras, and other school-based providers.
